This web site was developed for WenoniansInc - a part of the Wenona School for Girls in North Sydney. Wenonians Inc are the alumni organisation of Wenona, with the catch phrase of 'Once a Wenonian, Always a Wenonian'. The site aims to showcase Wenona and to encourage students, both past and present, to stay a member of the school community.
The site is built in html, with a Flash animation entry page. There is a database of members with search facilities allowing members to search for people using either names, HSC years, House, Career etc. Members are able to find professionals or just look up old friends through the search of the database. The dynamic pages are built in php.
The site contains many images of Wenona as it is currently, and as it was in years gone by - with archive images and recent photography. Ex students also are encouraged to send in photos and information about their lives - births, deaths and marriages and career news.
Plans for the site include adding a noticeboard and SMS. Online payment is also planned for the near future as is an online store of school memorabilia.
This site was launched on Foundation Day - 23rd June 2006 in front of the entire Wenona student body and invited guests.
